Thus briefed, Empress project-managed this as a joint student/creative practitioner project. We worked with the students on the initial creative concepts, and then gently shepherded them through the production process from beginning to end. The result, two years in a row, has been a handbook designed by students for students (with a little help from us) with lots of interesting extras and a broad enough appeal to be relevant to freshers and mature students alike.
It's had tons of positive feedback from students, staff and other institutions, and we've just put together our team for Student Handbook Mk. III.
